Fiona is delighted that Katie Mackenzie and Yvonne Lyon will be accompanying Fiona in her song. 5 December 2015 The Scottish Traditional Music Awards, Caird Hall, Dundee 7 November 2015 Fiona is singing at Yvonne Lyon's new album launch, The Beacon, Greenock. November 2015 Fiona has recently had a new song written by herself, selected to be included on a new recording by Greentrax Records "The Scotia Nova Project"- songs for a new Scotland, to be released later this year. Fiona's song "Cronan a' Chamhanaich - Dawn Lullaby" is the only Gaelic song to be included on the album.
28 October 2015 Fiona will be at the Edinburgh Storytelling Festival in October, to discuss future potential story events in Canna House and creating awareness of the potential for story within the Archives. She will also be participating in the "Leirsinn" event at the Festival, in the Storytelling centre.
19 - 23 October 2015 Fiona will be teaching songs from the Canna Collection at this years Feis Rois nan Deugairean in Ullapool. She will also be teaming up with well known singer, musician and songwriter, Finlay Napier, to teach songwriting during the course.
9 - 16 October 2015 Fiona will be running the National Trust for Scotland exhibition at the Gaelic Showcase during Mod week in Oban, where she will have informaiotn and videos about the work of the Trust particularly for Canna. She will also be presenting a song lecture on the Canna Collection and the work of the Campbells, John Lorne and Margaret Fay Shaw at the Fringe Showcase marquee on Tuesday13th at 4pm. 6 August 2015 Canna Feis, Isle of Canna
